Our return policy is effective for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund, exchange or credit.
In order to be eligible to return your product your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging.

Non-returnable items include but are not limited to:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where partial refunds are granted or replacement products can be provided (if applicable). These include but are not limited to:

  • Any item not in its original condition, that is damaged or has missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days from approval.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund within the stipulated time frame:

  • First check your bank account
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • Once these steps are completed and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at: [email protected]

Sale Items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, discounted items or sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Items will only be replaced if they are defective or damaged. If you need the same item exchanged, please send us an email at: [email protected]


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be delivered to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to then gift later, communications will be made with the original purchaser who will also receive the refund if it is approved.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs in order to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable or transferable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item, we strongly advise you to use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item/s.

We want you to love your new shoes. If you don’t, we keep things simple. Wear them around the house or take them out into the wild for up to 30 days. If they don’t meet your expectations, let us know within 30 days, send ’em back and we’ll give you a mulligan (refund or exchange).

Complete a return form (below) within 30 days of receiving your shoes and you can expect the following.

  • Our 30 Day trial is valid once per pair of TRUEs. Subsequent return requests will be considered on a case by case basis
  • Sale shoes are still covered by the 30 Day Trial, however, return postage costs must be covered by the customer.
  • Excludes shoes in the ‘Second Chance TRUEs’ Collection

* If you’ve requested an exchange, we’ll cover the cost of getting your original shoes back to us, as well as the outbound postage costs for your exchange. If you’ve requested a refund, we’ll refund the initial purchase price of the shoes, excluding the initial postage cost. New Zealand customers must cover the return shipping cost, regardless of condition.

TRUE Warranty

TRUE Defect Warranty

If you feel something isn’t quite right with your TRUEs, we’re happy to help. All of our products are warrantied to be free of defects for 90 days from the purchase date. At our sole discretion, we’ll either repair or replace defective products with an equivalent item, or provide you with a credit to use in our online store.

TRUE Waterproof Warranty

Some TRUE’s are warrantied to be waterproof for up to 2 years (from purchase date) depending on the model. If at any time in that window your pair does not keep the elements away, we will replace them one (1) time with the same or equivalent pair. If no such equivalent pair is available, we will arrive at a solution in a fair and consistent manner. Store credit may be issued per your original purchase value if necessary. 

* Excludes normal wear and tear or physical damage to the shoe/s.

Should your pair qualify, we may have you send them in to our warranty department for assessment and follow up with our corrective action if applicable.

Please measure your foot to ensure you are getting the right size. TRUE sizes might be smaller than other shoes you own. If you’re between sizes, please size up.

Foot Length Measurements – this length reflect the measurement of your barefoot from heel to the end of your longest toe. The corresponding size allows for the extra toe room required for a comfortable fit.
